Etching Glass Gifts

Earlier this year I etched a set of glasses for a friend for her birthday… For Christmas I etched a set of glasses for my brother and his family and then made a treat jar (complete with treats! ) for another special someone! The etching process is very simple… I took my circle punch to make the ‘etched area’ for the glasses and then used painters tape to make the ‘etched area’ on the big treat jar. Using letter stickers from the craft store I placed the first letter of each of the fam’s name, then spelled out treat on the jar.  The glasses I got as a set of 4 at Target and the treat jar was a Target purchase as well! ( I heart Target!) Applied the etching cream and waited for it to do its work… Rinse off and let dry! I used my flag punch to etch a flag on the bottom of each item to leave my mark on them!
